COVID-19 | Additional protection solutions for package received at home

The situation we are living in is changing rapidly, even every day, and there can be many uncertainties. It is therefore important for us to let you know that the closure of certain regions announced by the Government of Quebec does not affect our distribution activities. We continue to distribute across the province to meet the demand of our customers and local newspapers, that are among the priority businesses and essential services.

We are also aware that some people may have fears regarding the consultation of their Publisac and that is why we assure you that our employees in our warehouses as well as our distributors and their paper boys take daily several measures of hygiene and security to limit contact and comply with directives issued by the government. In addition, we did research among Santé Québec and the World Health Organization to share with you additional protection solutions. These solutions can also apply to all types of packages that you could receive at home.

• Leave the bag and flyers outside for a few hours, the virus does not survive for long on objects.
• Wash your hands as often as possible.
• Disinfect the plastic bag before taking it and consulting the flyers and newspaper.
• Disinfect its door handle, mailbox and rail as often as possible.

We should also not forget that flyers allow you to save money, but above all to plan your trips, which are currently limited in accordance with current government recommendations.
