COVID-19 | Our Preventive Measures and Action Plan

The spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is changing rapidly. In this context, the need to save money and plan your trips is greater than ever. Publisac continues to serve Quebecers throughout the province while following the Quebec government's public health recommendations in order to contribute responsibly to the collective effort to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

We are vigilant and determined to protect our employees, our operations and our communities. We have set up a pandemic management committee to monitor the pandemic on a daily basis and adjust our preventive measures.

Here are the main measures we have taken:

• We have limited access to our warehouses.
• Our managers greet all employees in our warehouses and ask questions related to coronavirus symptoms and travel before granting access.
• It is mandatory for our employees to wash their hands upon entering the warehouse and before starting their shift. We educate them to wash their hands frequently throughout the day.
• Break schedules have been modified to comply with the Quebec government's public health recommendations and social distancing.
• We have distributed disinfectant solutions to our distributors so that the paper boys wash their hands regularly and avoid wearing gloves.
• No visitors are allowed in our warehouses without the general manager’s authorization.
• We have limited the number of paper boys per vehicle to respect social distancing.
• We have reviewed distribution methods to limit the number of possible contacts.
• We implemented temperature controls at the entrance of our warehouses.
• We added equipment and furniture to encourage physical distance in our warehouses.

We are in constant communication with our suppliers to ensure that Publisac is distributed to Quebecers' doorsteps every week. We continue to operate on a regular basis and our teams are equipped to deal with the current situation at work and in their personal lives.

We are closely monitoring the situation and you can rest assured that Publisac is acting prudently and responsibly in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
