If you ask me my opinion, I find that pomegranate is a super fruit that does not enjoy the popularity it deserves! Super known and appreciated in Middle Eastern countries, it is much rarer to cook it or simply to eat it in North American countries.
Lets highlight the many benefits of this fruit that is as delicious as it is beautiful!
- Pomegranate> Cardiovascular diseases: yes, in addition to being pretty, its seeds and juice have a high antioxidant content. We would even advise to drink it daily!
- Pomegranate> cholesterol: it is thanks to its antioxidant properties and its concentrate of flavonoids that it would reduce the rate of bad cholesterol!
- Pomegranate and its anti-inflammatory effects: Chronic inflammation is a major driver of many diseases such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and obesity and it has been proven that drinking pomegranate juice every day could lower the inflammatory markers!
- Pomegranate> Joint pain: Thanks to its anti-inflammatory effects, eating or drinking the pomegranate helps reduce the pain associated with arthritis.
